One of the saddest things I see as a book coach and publisher is when a book is written and then forgotten.

I see books as beings.

Yes, like actually beings.

When a book shows up to me, whether it is for me to write, or it shows up for a client in a coaching session, I can feel the book’s essence. It has a presence. It has life.

The books don’t come to be written and then tucked away in a closet. No, books come to bless the world with their light.

Every aspect of bringing a book into the world mirrors birth. There is the gestational period of writing and creating the book. The ideas, the dreams, and the hopes that begin the creation. And the words that start to bring this book to life.

When it is complete, publishing your book can feel a lot like physical birth. Many authors deal with fear and resistance that wants to stop this powerful message from entering the world. There are labor pains and it requires a birthing team.

That is why I created a publishing specialist who holds the hands of each one of our authors through publishing. A team is needed to help ease any of the discomfort of publishing.
